Dr. B. Bipin Bihari Mishra was awarded the Odisha Seva Ratna award.

Dr. Bipin Bihari Mishra, chairman of Surya Kshetra Foundation. Dr mishra, who has been serving the Odia diaspora in Mumbai since 20 years, has been honored with the Odisha Sevaratna Award. He is known as the president of Bombay Odia Mahasangh and the chairman of Surya Kshetra Foundation. He is firmly committed to helping cancer patients get their treatment at Tata Memorial Hospital free of cost. Bipin keeps them comfortable and also provides free ambulance services. Born in Rukuna Deipur, Keonjhar to mother Suryamani and father Kshetrabos, Bipin Rukuna Deipur has come from a small place like Rukuna Deipur and has picked up the love of dressing up. As a retired senior officer of the Navy, he has made the whole of India proud by serving Mother India. In this program, Jajpur MP Ravindra Behera, Jagannath Pradhan, Priyadarshi Mishra, Sanjay Nayak, Dr. Rosalyn Patsahani Mishra were present on the stage and honored them. Everyone is praising this innovative effort of Bright Odisha Chief Sanjay Mahakud. After receiving the honor, Dr. Mishra ex- pressed his happiness and said that such social work towards the society will continue in the future.
