Rajnagar Tahasil, “Ama Odisha Khabar” on 27.02.2026, a short while ago, Sri Pradyumna Keshari Behura, RI( Revenue Inspector), Keredagarh under Rajnagar Tahasil, Dist-Kendrapara has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while demanding and taking bribe Rs.5,000/- from a land owner for submitting favourable report in the mutation case (for inheritance updation) applied online by him in his favour. To furnish favourable report, Sri P.K Behura, RI asked the land owner to pay bribe Rs.5,000/-. This irked the land owner to report the vigilance authorities. Following this, a team of Odisha Vigilance nabbed Sri Behura, RI today while taking bribe Rs.5,000/- from the land owner in front of Tahasil Office, Rajnagar. The entire tainted bribe money of Rs.5,000/- has been recovered and seized from the exclusive possession of Sri Pradyumna Keshari Behura, RI.
Following the trap, simultaneous searches are going on at two locations linked to Sri Behura, RI.
In this connection, Cuttack Vigilance PS Case No.09 dt.26.02.2026, U/s-7 P.C Act, (Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered against the accused Sri Behera. Detailed report follows.
